Malay kampung

Choose a country RR, Group 124, from Lufra

Dan Jolobu is an artist with many different painting skills ranging from carucature, cartoon drawing, watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oil painting. His current specialty is Black & WHite Landscape painting using a fine-tip black "technical pen". His artworks are created based solely on his imagination. He is fondly known as "Pelukis Jari Halus" (Fine Finger Artist) in the art fraternity and is one of only a few Malaysian artists to perfect the art of "technical pen" drawing.

The picture shows a traditional Malay "kampung". "Kampung" means "village". Houses are of wood and built on stilts. There are still kampung in many state in Malaysia, outside the busy cities.
