Jan Davidsz de Heem, Friut and Vase of Flowers, 1655Jan Davidsz. de Heem or in-full Jan Davidszoon de Heem, also called Johannes de Heem or Johannes van Antwerpen (ca. April 17, 1606, Utrecht – before April 26, 1684, Antwerp), was a still life painter who was active in Utrecht and Antwerp. He is a major representative of that genre in both Dutch and Flemish Baroque painting.
